Goldfish are very messy as they have no stomachs, so they produce massive amounts of ammonia, which is excreted in the water through the gills. Overfeeding directly increases the water pollution/toxicity. You can buy Goldfish food at any pet shop and it’s cheap. But the correct feeding is critical otherwise you can easily kill them by over feeding. They can go up to 3 weeks without food, so it’s enough to feed them about 5 small pellets every alternate day. Also, don’t feed bread as it expands on contact with water.
